AMU Malappuram quarantine set up

Following is the information recieved  from the sources:

"In the month of May (after reopening of 1st lockdown) Elamkulam panchayat demanded the centre for converting it into quarantine centre, and for the same purpose they visited the campus too... Then we teachers (those who are residing in the campus) requested to the director for not converting it into quarantine centre...

Then director accepted our request and by citing other reasons that students are not here , their belongings are also inside, who will responsible for their belongings etc. had requested to the Vice Chancellor for not converting it into quarantine centre.

Vice Chancellor accepted director's request and written a letter to the Chief Secretary of the Govt of Kerala for not converting it into quarantine centre.
Chief Secretary accepted VC's request and cancelled all the proposal."

  2. This is not right decision of kerala state government, because right now many faculty members and students are still reside in the AMU, MC campus.
And this virus is spreading very fast, then after entering of corona patients for treatment in AMU,MC campus this virus may be transmitted to another persons who is in the campus.
